So one thing you hear/see/maybe even say a lot is that you need to take the time to get to know yourself. To some people tho that sounds absurd bc they assume like of course I know myself bc I am myself and I'm deadass always with me ! But the truth is, most people painfully lack self-awareness. So where do you start ? By asking yourself hella questions. Start with figuring out why the shit that bothers you even bothers you. You may find that it's actually not that bothersome bc 100% of the time it's an internal issue and not about the other person involved. Take pet peeves.⠀
Fellow poets and authors, where do you store your works ? I have hundreds of poems and short stories that I don't really know what to do with. They don't all fit in neatly to complete projects. They're kinda just hanging out in random notebooks and all of my electronics.⠀
I took this pic a few years in the downtown library. I remember going back editing the photos thinking how cool it would be to have an office downtown to stage shoots in.. Biiiiiiiiiihhhhhh and now I have an office downtown to stage shoots in ! I'm the creator of dreams, manifesting tf out of these goals 💜 Can't wait to see what's next.⠀
I’ve been thinking long and hard about how I want to feel when I’m 87 looking back at my life. Proud. I want to be proud of the effort I put in to change the world. Even if I haven’t changed the whole world, I want to be ferociously grateful for having at least made a significant impact in my hometown. I want to feel finished. I’m a stickler about getting the most out of each day, y’all already know that. I want to have a deep-seated belief that not a single day was wasted, there’s nothing left unsaid and nothing left undone. I want to think that being here for another ten years, maybe even a century total would be nice. But if I only have one day left on earth after my 87th bday I want to feel at peace bc I know I came, I saw, I conquered and I’m done here. Now this is all 57 years away lmao but with the plans I have I’ve NEEDED to start now. I make my decisions now based on if it will lead me to that feeling I seek. @copaceticaesthetixllc is the main puzzle piece to everything right now. I’m super proud of it. I’m on track ❤️
Life is pretty abstract. Nothing really matters but you can still find beauty in it. One of my favorite things about life is trees. I love hanging out in the woods on a super sunny day and just marveling at all the shades of green. If you know me irl we've probably talked about it before bc it just fascinates tf out of me. A thing is never JUST a thing. Everything is something special you just have to dig a little deeper sometimes.⠀
I understand more and more each day why they say you can’t love anyone or anything else until you love yourself. I deadass just started loving me like 3 years ago and these 3 have been drastically different from the first 27 as a result of starting to love myself 💕It all started with affirmations.
